New Television Shows
I haven’t watched Television religiously in quite a while, but since I’ve been blogging I picked it back up again. With the season ahead of us, I have to say I am pretty glad I did.
Dom Evans (They/He) is the leading expert in disability representation in media. Since 2018, they have been one of two researchers for the FilmDis Annual Study on Disability Representation on TV. They have a BFA in Film Production and are currently working on multiple TV series ideas. When not crafting their own ideas, Dom consults on disability and 2SLGBTQIA representation in film.

It’s hard when kids are cruel. With CT’s disability he is often the target of other kids because he does not understand social behaviors. We want him to socialize as much as possible, but what do you do when others take advantage of the kid who just wants someone to like him?
I’m not the biggest fan of Obama, but I hate Palin. Everything about her rubs me the wrong way. I can’t imagine a world where she is Vice President.

Tropic Thunder is clearly parody. Sure, it might be mildly offensive, but if you’re protesting this you have bigger issues that you could be thinking about.
